February and March Classes
Knit and Crochet with a Teacher:

You’ve got questions, we’ve got answers! This general 2-hour class provides whatever help you need for your knitting and crochet.
- Bring a project that has you stuck
- Learn a new technique
- Including those we teach in topic classes
- Work on modifying a pattern for a different yarn or gauge
- Learn how to knit or crochet!
Colorwork Series
Saturday February 28: Stranded Colorwork
Learn to do two-color knitting while creating a stranded colorwork hat, using the hat pattern we will provide. You will learn to read a chart, maintain tension, keep colors consistent on the back, and more.
Materials: Bring or buy three different colors of contrasting worsted weight yarn that go together well. (This will be approximately 50 g of the main color and 25 and 10 g of contrasting colors.) Have appropriate needles for working the yarn: 16” circular or needles for your preferred method of circular knitting.
Homework: You will cast on and knit circularly in 1 x 1 or 2 x 2 ribbing for 1¼ inches (3 or 4″ and more yarn if you want to turn the brim up) on needles one size smaller than those you will use in the class. Cast on numbers by size: Child: 72 (Adult S: 84, M/L: 96, XL: 108)
